Coke Considers Adding CBD to it's Products

Posted on

Well, here it is.

According to multiple news sources, Coke is considering cannabis-infused drinks by adding CBD to their product.

To those of us already selling pure CBD Hemp Oil with 0 THC, this is no surprise.  The benefits our customers are receiving from using this has been phenomenal, so obviously, Coke wants in.

It is worth noting, however, that Coke will likely be using CBD Isolate.  This is a fine powder that is pure CBD but does not have the other components of the full Hemp extraction CBD which provides the benefits of CB1, CB2, CBG.  Those components are only found when you do full plant extraction into the oil. Why are these other compounds important?

CB1 receptors: Are concentrated in the brain and central nervous system.

CB2 receptors: Are cells associated with the immune system and peripheral organs.

CBG: Has been found to be able to counteract and prevent tumor formation.

CBD: CBD as we know, is effective for its anti-inflammatory properties, anti-anxiety, anti-nausea, pain management and much more.

But here is the benefit of Coke getting involved.  They have the pocketbook to market the benefits of CBD.  The majority of American’s have not yet learned about pure CBD oil, and if they have heard about it. They are leary because they associate it with Marijuana and psychoactive THC.

How exciting that with added awareness of CBD, more people will be consuming CBD, and we will become a healthier, less stressed nation.

.I have chronic pain for 10 years. Doctors had me on opioid therapy all this time. Six months ago, I looked into CBD oil. After talking with my new, pain management Dr. and asking her about CBD, she said “ several of her patients have had good results. I began taking it and found, not only new relief, but several positive side effects, including lessened anxiety, better sleep and clearer head. I’ve been off opioids for six months now and have increased energy. I recommend looking into it for yourself, as there are many ailments it addresses. As far as coke coming out with an infused beverage ? I’m sure I’ll be a customer

I love cbd for so many reasons. So I have mixed feelings about this. Cbd can help with many ailments and cola maybe causing some bad ailments. Maybe the cbd will fix the bad. Balance

I was reluctant to try CBD oil at first but after many recommendations and plenty of research ( even asked my doctor) I decided to give it a try. After months of daily usage it has helped me with my arthritis, stomach issues and sleep pattern. It is calming as well. I think a huge company like Coke, with their many resources, could be the catalyst in getting the CBD benefits out to their millions of consumers. Providing it doesn’t become all about money ( greed) and more about helping people feel better, I think it could be a good idea.

Soda sales have dropped every year for over a decade. A route like this could allow them to offer smaller cans/ less sugar while giving the consumer a bigger hit for their buck with the CBD, and selling it at a higher price point. Might be a savvy move by Coca Cola.

My initial reaction after reading this article is that it’s a great idea. I hope that when a big company like Coca-Cola endorses CBD, more of the population will realize that CBD oil has great benefits.

If Coke were to add CBD Isolate to a line of their products, I think it could potentially make an extremely positive difference in the passing of pro-marijuana and pro-CBD legislature.

My only concern is that there are already a lot of people who are addicted to Coca Cola, who already are fiend-ish towards it, and have anxiety if they don’t have a few glasses of it throughout their day. Perhaps, if Coke added CBD to their cola, people who already have anxiety problems when they are without it would get worse due to the anti-anxiety effects of CBD. Perhaps they would become even more relient on Coke to appease their anxiety.

Coke, unlike most other CBD products, is high in sugar and other bad stuff for your body. I just wish people could learn the benefits of full extract CBD (CB1, CB2, CBG) without needing to drink more CocaCola.

Coke & weed – great combo. Or “chewey” as its known in some circles.

I think it’s a great idea. It would benefit so many people. If it goes over, maybe add CBD to other products as well. I’d buy it.

Great idea! I think more folks who don’t drink sodas may actually try it. I know I’d like to come home from a stressful day and have a coke and a smile.

I think it’s a great idea by coke. Helps offset the effects of all that sugar in their sodas! This would help bring more societal acceptance to CBD products.

Why not? It’s legal and there is an ever growing demand. Hopefully it’ll shift some minds of people thinking somehow CBD is some dangerous drug. It’s gotta start somewhere. I don’t even drink coke but this type of thing might get me to start.

The corporations looking to stick their dirty hands into the CBD cookie jar disgust me. However, this may be a blessing and a curse at the same time, specifically for the Marijuana and CBD industry. It’s gonna take money from a giant like Coke to grease the pockets of the politicians before they pass any Federal Laws that actually benefit the citizens of this country. Few states in this country have legalized marijuana for recreational use, and there are still places where CBD oils aren’t legal. Let’s hope Coke puts the money up to get bills passed, and that the American consumers are smart enough not to buy CBD products from them, but instead from a company like yours. Thanks for the post!

I would like to be a tester on that
